Some Updates to Announce:

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

Today we have a few updates to the beta application to announce. Along with banging out a few bugs and speeding things up overall, we have added two new function tabs. The first is a “Settings” tab, which, while seemingly mundane and currently only houses your profile settings will become the destination for you to make all of the modifications to how your photo albums are shown. We are working to add privacy features as well as account management features to this section so be on the lookout for those in the coming weeks.

We have also added a “My Galleries” tab - This gives you the the ability to review and share all of your albums from a single place. As well as a place for people to view all of your galleries at once. Yes, we are adding a comments module soon.

We also built in the ShareThis widget; as a side note, kudos to the guys at ShareThis, great, easy to use application which allows you to easily share links to your photos to most of the places you currently use facebook, digg, delicious, and reddit to name a few. So login, try the changes, send us your feedback or leave it as a comment to this post and let us know what else you are looking for.

Samir Zabaneh and Dean Gendron join the Digisphere Technologies Board

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

A quick note to let everyone know we have added two great team members to our Board of Directors. Samir Zabaneh and Dean Gendron recently joined the board of Digisphere Technologies, the parent of fOTOGLIF. We are really excited to have both Samir and Dean on board as they bring a wealth of experience in helping to grow and manage technology companies.

Samir is currently with Sigma Systems as their newly-appointed CFO and was formerly with Fortress Capital and was the CFO of Q9. Samir brings a wealth of financial expertise to Digisphere as well as a great understanding of what it takes to grow a company in the tech space.

Dean is currently the President of Calotto Capital TTO.P (CVE) a publicly listed company on the Canadian Venture Exchange. Dean comes with 20 years experience in the technology sector helping companies grow and meet their
strategic targets. He has worked with companies like Critical Outcome Technologies and DDP Therapeutics. Dean brings a great deal of experience and knowledge in junior capital markets finance and investor relations as well as marketing and
sales.

We are really excited to have these exceptionally talented individuals on board and welcome their
participation in the growth of Digisphere and fOTOGLIF.

Back At It Again!

Friday, January 4th, 2008

Well, we put a blog on this site and then got stuck in the holiday season and have not added anything since. Which was a bit slackish, I’ll admit, but I think we all needed, and got, a well deserved break.

Back up and running at full swing again and I wanted to take a few moments to thank our current beta testers for all of their feedback so far. A lot of your suggestions have been very helpful and to be honest are really helping us to fine tune our business model and strategy as we continue to try and make a great web-application for all.

So. Thank you!

And for those of you who feel like you registered to participate ages ago and its unfair that you haven’t received an invite yet, write me at feedback@fotoglif.com make sure to include/use the email you registered with and I will try and get you set up ASAP.

Remember to check back here for any news and updates on new features added to the system!
